Mario Kart 8 Deluxe + Booster Course Physical Release Reportedly Updated

Last year, before the release Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC ‘Wave 6’, Nintendo has released a physical bundle in select regions around the world with Booster Card (includes Waves 1-5 and download Wave 6 for free).

Now, in an update, it appears that the company has released a physical version with “all” of the DLC on the game’s box. As NintendoSoup highlights, the new physical version in Southeast Asia has updated Switch packaging, noting that “this particular package comes with Wave 1-6 DLC.”

There’s also no mention of a download required – so it seems like this is full package on a game card. As noted by the same source, older packaging for the game (prior to this August 2024 reprint) stated that the package included “DLC Waves 1-5” with Wave 6 available for free download.

Places like Japan and others have also received physical games with all the DLC for titles like Zelda: Breath of the Wild And Splatoon 2. Nintendo also recently released a Splatoon 3 + Physical Expansion Pass package.
