Marriott Bonvoy and MGM Resorts boost benefits for 2025

Marriott and MGM Resorts are entering 2025 with some new updates on their loyalty partnership.

One year after the brands announcement details of their partnershipGuests who want to take advantage of Marriott Bonvoy perks while staying at MGM Resort will have more benefits. These changes take effect January 1, ring in the new year with enhanced stay perks, including those in Las Vegas MGM Collection, such as Bellagio, Aria and Cosmopolitan.

Additionally, many benefits previously set to expire at the end of 2024 have now been made permanent for Marriott Bonvoy Elite Member. These perks can be used at MGM Resort based on the member’s status level in Marriott Bonvoy.

New and improved Marriott Bonvoy benefits at MGM Resorts for 2025

Three perks for Marriott elite member has been enhanced for the new year:

• $20 higher food and beverage credit per night of stay for Platinum, Titanium, and Ambassador Elite members (up from $15)
• Discounts on select shows for Platinum Elite members, subject to availability (previously only available to Titanium and Ambassador Elite members)
• 10% retail discount for Platinum and Titanium Elite members and 15% retail discount for Ambassador Elites; Exclusions apply (previously only for Ambassador Elite members)

Platinum, Titan and Ambassador Elite can now share in this benefits package, which was previously limited to certain status levels — a positive change for 2025. The addition Food and beverage credits are also very helpful. Note that Platinum, Titanium and Ambassador Elite members still receive a $30 dining credit per night staying at W Las Vegas.

Promotional benefit becomes permanent for Marriott Bonvoy elites

Additionally, many benefits that were promotional and scheduled to expire at the end of 2024 have been made permanent for Marriott Bonvoy elite members staying at MGM Resorts in Las Vegas.

Privileges for Marriott Bonvoy Silver and Gold Elite members remain unchanged. Silver Elite members still earn 10% bonus Bonvoy points on qualifying charges at MGM Resorts, and Gold Elite members earn 25% bonus points on qualified charges as well as a 500-point welcome gift each time stay.

More matching statuses from MGM Rewards to Marriott Bonvoy

Final update regarding MGM Rewards’ state matching program with Marriott Bonvoy, which gives MGM elite members access to elite status at Marriott.

This match was previously only available for the program’s top tiers, MGM Rewards Platinum and Noir. But for 2025, MGM Rewards updated its level matching program to include MGM Rewards Pearl and Gold, which correspond to Marriott Bonvoy Silver Elite and Gold Elite, respectively.
