Here’s what happened to Megan Keleman, a 25-year-old woman in Ohio

According to Akron Beacon JournalThe incident occurred on the evening of Wednesday, August 14, around 7:30 p.m.

Authorities explained that Keleman stopped his car in front of a 53-year-old man. Jason Williams during a Taco Bell drive-through. Williams allegedly honked his horn at Keleman. He also allegedly hit the back of her car with his car.

After her car was hit, the 25-year-old allegedly asked a staff member to call the police. However, Williams allegedly got out of the car and shot the 25-year-old before turning the gun on himself.

Keleman died of a gunshot wound to the neck, while Williams died of a gunshot wound to the head, the source said.

Furthermore, Akron Beacon Journal added that police received 14 calls about the incident when it happened.

Why did Jason Williams kill and then commit suicide?

Williams’ motive for the shooting remains unknown, according to the source. Additionally, it appears he and Keleman did not know each other.

“This is a real tragedy,” Stow Police Chief Jeffrey Film reportedly explained at a press conference earlier this week. “Not only did the Keleman family lose a daughter, but this community lost one of our daughters… Right now, we don’t have answers as to why this happened, and we may never know why.”

WKBN added that as of August 15, it was “unknown whether” the 53-year-old “was under the influence of drugs or alcohol”.

“It seems like the person was in a crisis,” Film explained, according to the source. “I don’t think we can explain the motive behind his decision.”

According to Akron Beacon JournalThe case is reportedly being investigated by the “Summit County Medical Examiner, the Stow Police Department, and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation.” The newspaper added that the last homicide in Stow, Ohio, was “five years ago” and that at the moment, the city “does not have enough homicide detectives to solve the case.”

The newspaper also added that Keleman’s family released a statement after her death.

“In light of recent events, our family is grieving the incredibly painful loss of Megan Elizabeth Keleman,” the statement reportedly read. “We appreciate the outpouring of support from the community and hope that our request for privacy will be respected so that we can continue to focus on supporting each other during this difficult time.”

The store added that Taco Bell has remained closed since the incident. The location is said to be prioritizing the “health and progress” of its employees.[ing] at their own pace.”

Furthermore, the company is said to be providing resources to workers to “support” and cooperate with the government’s investigation.
