Meghan Markle’s Style 2024: Dress to Invest
Besides their new roles as lifestyle entrepreneurs, Meghan and Harry are also committed to the kind of public charity work that makes international travel a necessity by 2024. their non-royal travels to Nigeria in May and Colombia in AugustThe duchess incorporated those two goals into her wardrobe. With the idea of fashion diplomacy, she wears brands that have a deep connection to the places she visits, while still focusing on women-owned brands.
On August 17, her two-pronged approach came together easily. ABOVE a trip to drum school In Cartagena, Meghan wore a patterned tank top with matching slacks Johanna Ortiz, a Colombian-born designer who studied fashion in Miami. She accessorized with a Cartier Juste Un Clou necklace, Ariel Gordon earrings and pendant, brown suede sandals by perennial favorite Aquazzura, and a brown bag by Cesta Collective. Meghan also incorporated parts of Heidi Merrick, a designer based in Los Angeles, goes into her wardrobe throughout the year, most notably during April trip to Miami for the annual Sentebale Royal Salute polo tournament. She also wore the brand’s pink dress above a school visit on my first day in Nigeria. A host of female-founded brands, including Staud, Victoria Beckham, Misha Nonoo, Veronica Beard, Gabriela Hearst, Logan Hollowell Jewelry and Leset, perfected her look this year.
