Mia Jaye Shares Message on Young Dolph’s 39th Birthday

Mia Jaye spent Saturday (July 27) paying tribute to a man with whom she shared her life and built a family. She attended a memorial event for the deceased Young Dolphwho will celebrate his 39th birthday today.

In addition to the in-person meeting, she posted a note about the loss of the Memphis icon and father of her children. As previously reported, Dolph was shot and killed in November 2021 at a cookie shop he favored in Memphis. A The autopsy later revealed that 22 bullets hit the ‘Preach’ rapper during the shooting.

How Mia Jaye Honored Young Dolph on His 39th Birthday

Atlanta’s Westside Cultural Arts Center hosted a ‘Spirit of Dolph Heaven Birthday Celebration’ and Mia Jaye attended. She wore a white blouse and blue pants in photos taken with other attendees and her late fiancé’s artwork.

Meanwhile, on IG, she share four photos in a carousel post. The first post was a remembrance of her and Dolph, while the second was a video of the couple rocking it out. The third was a video of Dolph enjoying a waterslide with their kids, and the final post was a family group photo—one of the last taken by the two kids’ late father.

In her caption, she thanked Young Dolph for their life together and the lessons he imparted on her before leaving.

“Today I will live in gratitude, celebrating and cherishing every memory we have created in our lives together… thank you for every lesson you have taught us, the sacrifices you have made for us and for the wonderful spirit you have given to this world… May we continue to feel your presence through your absence… and may our everlasting love reach you where your spirit dwells… Happy birthday in heaven my love…”

In May, Mia brought to the same platform to call out the Memphis justice system. She expressed her frustration with the delays in the trial of the men charged in Dolph’s murder. The trial has been pushed from June to September, marking the second delay in the trial.
