Mia Thornton’s ex-husband refuses to film with his new boyfriend

Mia Thornton publicly broke up his marriage with Gordon Thornton. The ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ couple publicly went their separate ways in September 2023. However, in season 8 of the reality TV show, Mia admitted that she broke up with her ex-husband in July 2023. Currently, Mia is trying to bring along her new boyfriend, Anonymous, in, but Gordon’s not here!

As mentioned, the conversation about filming together came up during a recent episode of ‘The Real Housewives of Potomac’. The viral clip shows Mia, Gordon and Incognito standing together in the kitchen. Mr. Thornton told his ex-wife that he refused to be filmed with her new man and their children, explaining that he had repeatedly refused to sit down together to tell the children about the new relationship her.

At that point, Incognito jumped in and said: “I felt like I was missing out on something.” But Gordon quickly stopped him and said the conversation had nothing to do with him.

“I told Mia I won’t film with you. You and her and me and the kids, I’ll be very intimate, have fun. Without the kids, I’m not interested,” Gordon Thornton said before suggesting that Mia’s boyfriend was “pushing hard on the camera.”

The new man in Mia’s life did not miss Gordon’s comment. He clapped back “I am not forced to do anything; What I’m doing is supporting my woman. That’s what I’m doing. Yoke? You’re here for co-parenting reasons, but even beyond that, we’re very close to Gordon. I have no problem with you.”

Mia then jumps in, telling Gordon that they have to find a way to work things out for the kids. But Thornton still stood his ground and said: “I wouldn’t do a single thing to help advance all of your relationships. Damn it. I’m not okay with that. I don’t. I have no intention of enriching your situation.”

As the conversation continued, Mia’s ex-husband seemed to become more impatient. He added that when he looked at Incognito, all he saw was a man having an affair with his wife and trying to tear his family apart.

In time RHOP’s eighth season finaleMia Thornton made it clear that her divorce from Gordon had nothing to do with his financial troubles. Meanwhile, he accused her of having an affair.

“If I had left my marriage for financial reasons — I would have left seven or eight years ago,” Mia said at the end of a confessional. “He spent too much money… and was not home, coming in the middle of the night.”

In January 2024, Mia shared photos wearing a HUGE rock on her finger. Fans immediately started speculating whether she was engaged to the radio host or not. Sources later denied the rumors in a statement Exclusive claim for The Shade Room but confirms that the ring was a gift from her new friend.
