MIDDLE EAST LIVE: Security Council holds emergency meeting on collapse of Gaza health system

The United Nations Security Council is meeting urgently at 10 a.m. in New York over the collapse of health services in Gaza. The meeting was convened by Algeria, the Arab world’s leading voice on the Council, which assumed the presidency in January.
