Miss Kobayashi’s new dragon maid movie comes out in June
Kobayashi’s upcoming Dragon Maid film will be released in late June 2025. Notification comes from the official website, which also includes some excerpts from the voice actors and their thoughts on the upcoming film. It will release on June 27, 2025 in Japan. The global version has not yet been announced.
Besides announcing the release date, Kyoani shared the film’s trailer. It has some short scenes with the main cast and of course the dragons. The trailer has English subtitles, meaning English-speaking audiences can see what the upcoming film is about, including the appearance of Kanna’s real father.

In 2022, Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Boom!! Choro-gon breath received an English release. This particular title is a shooter or shmup, with the game’s story revolving around the characters being sucked into a haunted computer. Purchasing a physical copy of the game will provide consumers with Weiss Schwartz trading cards.
