Happy New Year, travelers! The Genshin Impact development team wishes you a great start to 2025. Today, we want to share details about the upcoming Patch 5.4 “Moonlight Amidst Dreams” on February 12. It will bring You return to the land of Electro, Inazuma, where a grand celebration awaits! Join your new friend, Yumemizuki Mizuki, and reunite with familiar faces like Raiden Shogun and Yae Miko as they gather at the Mikawa Flower Festival. This enchanting event bridges the human and demon worlds, inviting everyone to celebrate together under the shimmering moonlight of Inazuma.

Great festival of Youkai and Humans

At the foot of Inazuma’s Mount Yougou, this year’s Mikawa Flower Festival shines brighter than ever. Once home to a large gathering of youkai in ancient times, it has now become a vibrant celebration where humans and youkai alike are welcome. With new energy and spirit, the festival combines old traditions and new friendships in a truly unforgettable way. This year’s festival has a new special event – the “48-Hour Game Development Competition”. Also, here’s an interesting tidbit about what’s to come: Raiden Shogun will make a special appearance and rumor has it she’ll be investigating a strange nightmare involving an old friend…

In this competition, humans and demons will have two days to create new games together. Thanks to the magic of the Kitsune Meal, youkai can now speak human language, giving them the ability to combine their strength with human ingenuity, an enchanting combination that certainly promises to create Exciting new mini-games!

In the first part, “The Little Fox’s Daydream,” Mizuki and Kokomi present an adventure through changing dreamscapes, in which a little fox must move between sweet dreams and nightmares to reach both the delicious fried tofu and its target destinations.

The next creative entry, “Bunshin Phantasm,” offers a true test of the strategy and teamwork of Sayu, Yoimiya, and Kichiboushi. The adorable Muji-Muji Daruma guide mimics your movements to activate pressure plates and unlock your path to victory!

Don’t miss “Akitsu Harpastum: Dreams Doubled,” presented by Thoma and his demon friends! This is an innovative combination of the classic brick breaking game “Akitsu Yuugei” and Mondstadt’s harp elements, perfect for solo play or co-op fun! As you complete these mini-games, you’ll earn Festival Stamps that can be redeemed for fun rewards, including the 4-star pole weapon, “Tamayuratei no Ohanashi.”

Baku, Baths and Dreams

We learned that Aisa Bath House has introduced Mikawa Flower Festival style bathrobes, an initiative backed by major shareholder, new 5-star Yumemizuki Mizuki! As a yumekui-baku, Mizuki can have nightmares. As a clinical psychologist, she uses this gift to help her clients face their deepest, darkest nightmares. Even a Natlan warrior was among her clients, one in particularly severe pain after returning from the Night Warden War. During Mizuki’s Story Quest, you will have the opportunity to personally visit Aisa Bathhouse, where you may be lucky enough to experience her dream-altering treatments firsthand.

In combat, Mizuki shines as a 5-star Anemo catalyst user, a versatile support character that combines Swirl DMG and healing into an elegant package. Her versatility allows her to fit into a variety of lineups, including Pyro/Electro/Hydro/Cryo Element teams, while also boosting Swirl DMG – an effective means of increasing overall damage output of the whole group! When using her Elemental Skill, Mizuki enters a Dreamdrifter state, floating gracefully while periodically inflicting AoE Anemo DMG and buffing Swirl DMG to her team.

Additionally, Mizuki can adjust her healing strategy depending on her team’s condition. Her Elemental Burst attracts opponents and creates a “Special Yumemi-style Snack”. These snacks can be picked up and, depending on the currently active character’s HP, will heal them or cause AoE Anemo DMG. Mizuki’s unique talent also enhances healing, providing 30% more HP recovery when her teammates use HP Recovery Dishes.

Here’s another battle tip for Mizuki! While she is in Dreamdrifter state, her Yumemi Style Special Snacks pickup range has increased, making them easier to collect during combat.

For Version 5.4’s Event Wishes, the first stage will feature the debut of Yumemizuki Mizuki and the replay of Sigewinne, and the second stage will feature two replays, Furina and Wriothesley. Mizuki will import the Standard Wish banner after the Version 5.5 update.

The new event “Travelers’ Tales: Anthology Chapter” makes it possible for you to meet your old friends in the open world! Just look for anecdotal icons on your map to see their recent activity.

For combat enthusiasts, the “Realm of Temp Valor” event introduces a series of combat challenges with 25 floors each, playable solo or in Co-Op Mode. Achieve certain milestones to earn exclusive Namecards!

Finally, we wanted to share some recent improvements we’re making to streamline your character progression.

The promotion plan will be added to the “Training Guide”. Just set your leveling goal and the system will calculate the ingredients you need and show you where to find them! Crafting materials will also become simpler! By clicking on “Craftable Amount”, you can teleport directly to the Crafting Bench. Furthermore, an Auto Add button will be added to the Weapon Refinement interface to speed up the process.
