NBA 2K25 Announces September Release Date and Trio of Athletes Representing It
In perhaps the least surprising news of the month, 2K announced that NBA 2K25 heading to Switch *gasp*. In September *double panting*. With such a large number that it is confusing between physical and digital versions *dark*.
Book to come to us on September 6NBA 2K25 will feature three players depending on which version you choose. Boston Celtics star Jason Tatum will be the center in the Standard Edition, Las Vegas Aces’ A’ja Wilson will be in the WNBA Edition, and slam dunk champion Vince Carter will be inducted into the Hall of Fame Edition.
To keep things simple, there are only two versions available on the Switch: the Standard Edition and the ‘All-Star’. The latter will include all the usual extras including 100,000 VC, the MyTEAM Promo Box, bonus MyCAREER content and more along with the base game.
As for what will be different in this year’s product, we’re not sure yet. 2K25 will once again lack some of the ‘New Gen’ features on Switch, but MyCareer and MyTeam will return as expected. We’re hoping that’s an improvement over 2K24 dilutedBut we were prepared for disappointment…
