New lyrical Nanoha Manga project is in production
A new one Lyrical Magical Girl Nanoha The manga project is in production and Shuichi Kawakami will return to work on it. The manga will appear on Kodansha’s Wednesday Sirius. [Thanks, Famitsu!]
Shuichi Kawakami previously worked Lyrical Magical Girl Innocent Nanoha. This will be his first publication since Innocentand him stated on X (formerly Twitter) that he would put all his energy into this new series. There’s no information on the new manga’s name, main characters, or chronology, but more information is coming soon Official X account for the series.
At the same time, to celebrate 20th anniversary of the show, a special will air on December 28, 2024. The show will be an anniversary episode of Mikako’s Room, which previously appeared on home releases such as Blu-Rays. Yukari Tamura (Nanoha) and Nana Mizuki (Fate) will also appear in this episode, the three of them will look back at the history of the series and share new information.
Lyrical Magical Girl Nanoha first began airing in 2004 and featured some unique twists on the typical magical girl genre. For example, much of the magic in the show is combined with technology. There are multiple chapters in this series, showing Nanoha and her Fate rival meeting, becoming friends, and later joining the Time-Space Administration.
