Nintendo Life eShop Readers’ Choice & Choice (October 2024)
This is our second PS1-inspired horror game, and one we were looking forward to seeing on Switch earlier this year. Inspired by PlayStation classics Resident devil And Final Fantasy VII (no, you didn’t read wrong), crow land uses blocky polygonal imagery and angled camera views to its advantage. It’s no-frills and feels fresh, even amid the wave of classic horror games coming out.
We recorded Crow Country 8/10and we loved walking around this dilapidated amusement park.

Readers’ Choice eShop (October 2024)
October was a big month for game releases, and we’re sure some games made the cut. Note, we are conducting a review for Clock tower and STALKER trioso we’ve got all of those accounted for now.
On the other hand, if you want to tell us about a game we missed that deserves to be number one this month, then vote in the poll below and let us know.
Also, choose your favorite game from our selections.
How We Decide Our eShop Top Three Placements: As we reach the end of each month, Nintendo Life staff will vote on their favorites from a list of games selected by the editorial team. To qualify for this list, these games must have been released as digital-only Nintendo Switch eShop titles during that specific month and must have been rated on Nintendo Life; We select eligible games based on their review scores.
Staff were then asked to vote on three games they thought deserved to be at the top of that list; The first choice gets three points, the second choice gets two points and the third choice gets one point. These votes are then tallied to create a top three list, with the overall winner taking that month’s top prize.
