The article revealed that on Friday, August 9, at approximately 4 p.m., police responded to a report of a stabbing at a home in Green Township.
When they arrived, they found two victims stabbed.
WCPO confirmed Kenneth’s mother, Barbara Mortimer, 75, and his father, 75, who were not named, were the victims.
Officers found Barbara Mortimer dead at the scene, while Kenneth’s father was hospitalized with serious injuries.

Court records state that Barbara Mortimer told her son he was not allowed to stay at their home overnight, leading to a fight after she asked her husband to call psychiatric services.
According to WCPO, court documents reveal that Kenneth Mortimer grabbed a knife from the kitchen and stabbed his parents while they were sitting on the couch.
Kenneth dragged his mother into the house and stabbed her multiple times as she tried to escape.
Kenneth fled the scene in a car, but police quickly found and arrested him.
What happens next for Ohio Man?
WCPO confirmed Kenneth Mortimer admitted to stabbing both his parents after police took him to the Green Township Police Department.
PEOPLE reports that online jail records show Kenneth is currently being held on $2 million bail. He is currently in the Hamilton County Jail and is scheduled to appear before a grand jury on Tuesday, August 20.
It is unclear whether he has pleaded guilty or hired a lawyer.
