Pokémon Freak Developer Game Reportedly Hacked, Huge Amount of Data Allegedly Leaked

Pokémon developer Game Freak has apparently been hacked and it looks like it resulting in a large amount of data – from source code to future project details – leaked online.

Although we will not go into details, according to Many reports have made the roundssource code for DS titles such as Pokémon HeartGold And SoulSilver as Black and White 2 appeared online.

It is also believed that several codenames for the tenth generation of the Pokémon series have been discovered. This new generation is being called ‘Gaia‘ (including two versions ‘K’ and ‘N’) and is trusted Switch successor (code name “Ounce” according to this leak) is the target platform although there may also be tests for the current Switch platform.

Pokemon Legend: ZA is supposed to be internally called ‘Ikkaku‘ and is said to be in a fully playable state.

There also seems to be some evidence of a Pokémon game codenamed ‘synapse‘. It is said to possibly be a collaboration with developer ILCA and is rumored to be a multiplayer game. Apart from this, a series Unused Pokémon pixel art beta design from multiple generations are now starting to appear on social media and other places online.

Pokemon Legend: ZA is the next project of Game Freak and was officially announced in early February this year. Its first trailer confirmed the game will be set in Lumiose City and will appear on the “Nintendo Switch system” on 2025.

Nintendo (which has hosted Pokémon games on its platform for nearly three decades now) has been involved in a number of incidents in the past. major leaks themselves, including the infamous ‘gigaleak’ including many projects, games and leaked source code.
