Pokemon Horizons Will Start New Rayquaza Rising Arc
From October 11, 2024, Pokemon Horizon cartoon will start its new Rayquaza Rises arc. A new promotional image also shows Briar, Carmine, and Perrin from Pokemon Red/Purple DLC. [Thanks, Famitsu!]
Black Rayquaza and the Six Heroes appear in the image, along with main characters Liko, Roy, and Dot. The promotional image also reveals that Roy’s Fuecoco evolves into Crocalor. Meanwhile, Dot’s Tinkatink appears as Tinkatuff. Surrounding the main trio are the supporting cast in glass shards, including DLC characters from The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk. The presentation is similar to second ad image for The Indigo Disk.
Pokemon Horizon original success Pokemon series, with Liko and Roy appearing as dual protagonists in place of Ash. To date, the series has adapted Crimson And Purpleis the latest generation of Pokemon game. They enroll in Naranja Academy after traveling around different regions so they can learn about Terastal. Speaking of Naranja Academy, that’s where Riko will return in Episode 66, which will air on September 20, 2024. Compared to the original Pokemon cartoon, Horizon has a more linear storyline, meaning viewers may not be able to skip episodes like before.
