Pretty Vee receives her first honorary degree
Over the weekend, Vee took to Instagram to share one Conveyor of photos with her followers. Photos show her wearing a red, black and gold graduation dress with a black cap decorated with gold tassels.
In the caption of her post, Vee shared more context for her followers.
“From now on, call me Dr. Excel 🎓🤩I am honored and blessed to receive the First Honorary Doctorate in Humanitarianism! ✨,” she wrote. “Thank you Jesus, Mom, Family, Friends for always supporting me through it all! This moment right here is ALL GOD….”
As her caption continued, Vee shared a prayer with fans before thanking them for “always supporting” her.
In a second Conveyor On the platform, Vee shared photos of herself posing next to her honorary doctorate. In addition, the comedian also shared footage capturing the moment she received the honor.
“Great God Don’t play with me! 🎓🤩 May God continue to add to my resume,” she wrote in the caption of her second post. “…This moment is a BIG THING for me and I will not take it lightly!. I am worthy of everything JESUS has for me.✨… This is just His beginning….. God is Just Beginning🙏🏽 Love you all 🫶🏼 Excellent Doctor 💋”

Another group of famous people recently received honorary degrees
In March, celebrity Bobby Brown and his wife, Alicia Etheredge-Brown, also received honorary degrees. As The Shade Room previously reported, the couple was honored by Leader of Esteem Christian Bible College. According to the report, the institution is an “Accredited Christian Bible University.”
The honor was reportedly given to the Browns for their “notable philanthropic contributions” through Bobbi Kristina Serenity House. It should be noted, Bobbi Kristina is Brown’s late daughter, whom he shared with the late singer Whitney Houston.
