It’s sad, first of all alarm clock and now… rock band Green Day have announced that they are releasing ‘Dookie has been decoded’a collection of extremely unique items that play individual tracks from the band’s iconic 1994 album cookies.

These items are available for purchase in the United States, but only through limited draws; So basically you are free to order as much as you want, but chances are you won’t get any orders in the end. Items include a floppy disk (There was an explosion), doorbell (Look away) and a Big Mouth Billie Bass (Basket box), but what really caught our attention was the full-play genuine Game Boy cartridge Welcome to paradise.

Limited to just 25 hand-numbered copies at $39, this certainly seems like a pretty good bargain for such a strange collectible… If you can get your hands on one pcs, then that’s it. It’s important to note that there’s no actual ‘game’ included with this one; the song is literally playing on the Game Boy. Still, pretty cool if you ask us.

You can check out the full list of items above official website (and you can listen to them all too – bonus!), and you can try buying a Game Boy cartridge on Brain archive page. However, it’s only for US residents, sorry everyone.

So if you’re a Green Day fan or happen to be one of those people who absolutely must own every Game Boy cartridge in existence, then… well, good luck, we guess!
