‘Retro gaming company’ Sjgam has just unveiled its latest handheld, the ‘M20 Pro’, and while it doesn’t appear to be the best emulator money can buy, the design of it looks… familiar. Let’s not mince words here: it’s the Switch (thanks for your note, check the manual).

According to Sjgam websiteThe M20 Pro boasts a 7-inch display (1024 x 600 pixels), runs on Linux-based EmuELEC 4.3 operating system to support over 30 emulators, and comes with a dock for TV output. Notebookcheck claims that while the handset’s Rockchip RK3566 CPU and Mali-G52 GPU make for an affordable combination, pairing can be difficult with more powerful emulators like the PSP and N64 – please error, Banjo.

Okay, maybe this isn’t the best emulator out there (and it’s currently only available on Alibaba, so take that with a grain of salt), but the design is the real highlight. Does it sting your nose? Sure, the M20 Pro has an internal speaker Joy-Con The controller and d-pad are one actually d-pad, but if you squint a bit, it could absolutely be considered a Switch.

And we haven’t even touched on the accessories yet! Besides several light guns, Sjgam’s latest handhelds can also be paired with these packaged pads. has absolutely nothing to do with Sony’s PS5 DuelSense controller. No, not at all.

It’s honestly funny to see such blatant cheating so soon after Nintendo announced the Switch 2, but hey, it’s bound to happen. This also isn’t the first time we’ve seen Sjgam rely on Nintendo’s design for its console – M21 looks eerily similar to the classic Game Boy, while M17 there’s a little more Switch Lite going for it. *Sigh* We predict that there will be a Switch 2 inspired model in a few years.
