Random: We’ll Kill a Bokoblin to Get This Zelda: BOTW Switch Cartridge
One of the most interesting examples of emerging gameplay in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild are a selection of outposts scattered throughout Hyrule, mostly populated by Bokoblins and other mischievous beasts. Defeating them will unlock a nearby treasure chest, which often contains a variety of goods including arrows, weapons, gems, or even rupees.
Not only are the chests useful for getting new items, they also look pretty cool; almost like a monster was once turned to stone and then crafted into a treasure chest. Weird. Anyway, it looks pretty cool that someone just went and made a Switch cartridge case based on it. Check it out…
Putting aside the fact that you’ll need to quickly grab your chosen cartridge before the box slams shut and amputates your finger, this is a great little idea. We love the lights, the jingle that comes with it, and the satisfying way the box opens and closes.
The video would be perfect if it actually had cartridges for Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. Damn, even Link’s Awakening or Hyrule Warriors will be accepted. Alas. Either way, we want one, and we want it now.
