Rent game developer Kirby’s HAL Lab
HAL Labs, the studio behind games like Kirby series, is recruiting for many positions. The online selection process will take place on Zoom on February 7 and 8, 2025. [Thanks, PR Times!]
To register for the online selection process, you can do so from here lnk This. Applicants have until February 5, 2025 to submit their information. Online casting will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and anyone can try out for the positions as long as they meet basic requirements.
Although the website doesn’t mention Japanese as an essential skill, you’ll likely need to know how to communicate in the language to work there. Additionally, it also does not mention that overseas applicants cannot apply. However, the actual application form is designed specifically for Japanese residents in an easy-to-understand manner. So people in countries outside of it might have a hard time accepting some of the differences in how phone numbers work and those things.
Current jobs HAl Lab is recruiting include:
- Company employee
- Designer and artist
- Programmers (instrument engineers, graphic designers, audio engineers, corporate network engineers, etc.)
- Project manager
HAL Laboratory was established in 1980and became a second-party developer for Nintendo in 1984. Almost all of its games were exclusive to Nintendo consoles (or older systems such as the Commodore 64). In addition to its work above Kirby franchise, HAL Laboratories also did research Super Smash Bros., Photo of Pokemon (1999), et EarthBound.
