Four hostages kidnapped by Hamas from the Nova music festival in the October 7 attack were rescued in a daylight raid deep in central Gaza.
The Israel Defense Forces said Noa Argamani, 26, Almog Meir Jan, 22, Andrei Kozlov, 27, and Shlomi Ziv, 41, were freed during a “complex, high-risk mission” from two Separate building in Nuseirat area.
The IDF said the four were in good health and were transported to Tel-HaShomer ‘Sheba’ Medical Center, where they were photographed hugging family members.
Many Palestinians, including children, were killed and injured in the area of the operation, with images and footage showing large numbers of casualties.
Hamas put the death toll in the densely populated area at more than 200 people, although the figure came from its media office and not medical sources.
