Haney Reacts to Steroid Test Failure
The Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA) tested Garcia’s samples. His wild victory over Haney shocked the boxing world. The steroids believed to be in Ryan’s system may explain why his punches have such great power. Garcia scored 3 goals knock down against Haney.
This boxer took to social networks after the test results were made public. On May 23, he tweeted, “Let’s start, let’s have positive positive emotions, Yess is happy’ and followed by ‘IF****** LOVE STERIODS.’
Furthermore, Garcia seemed to imply that he had been set up.
He added, “I don’t care, I’ll never make money again with a boxing match, it’s your loss not mine for setting me up, haha joke with you guys.”
As previously reported by Shade roomHaney chose Garcia after it was revealed he failed the A form.
Ryan’s legal team speaks out
Yes! Sports Garcia’s legal representatives reportedly released a statement following the release of the dirty samples.
It reads, “Ryan Garcia is committed to clean and fair competition and has never knowingly used any banned substances.”
Additionally, his lawyer revealed, “Ryan voluntarily collected his hair and forwarded it to Dr. Pascal Kintz, a leading expert in toxicology and hair analysis.”
The statement said, “Ryan’s hair sample test results were negative.” The message also noted that the controversial boxer had “tested negative multiple times leading to the fight against Haney.”
Reaction on social networks
Roommates who commented on The Shade Room’s Instagram report weighed in on Garcia’s results.
Roomie, @iknowwhereiwanttoeat, can’t believe a fighter was allowed in the ring before the inspection was complete.
“You test people, let them fight, and find out after they’ve beaten someone that they tested positive. Do better,” she writes.
Additionally, comedian Lil Duval commented, “This is a good way to sell a rematch.”
Some roommates feel a win is a win.
@thecliffthegift said, “Even if Ryan beats that guy, we can still move on.”
Do you think Ryan cheated by using ‘roids or was he set up like he claims?
