Ryukishi07 Game Rose Guns Days Will Be Available In English
MangaGamer announced at Anime Expo 2024 that they have picked up the game Ryukishi07 Day of the Rose Gun for an English release. There is no release date yet, but it will appear on both Steam and MangaGamer’s official website.
Day of the Rose Gun was split into four chapters when it was released around 2012 and 2013 in Japan, originally called seasons, and the English release will follow that pattern. MangaGamer notes that they will still be four chapters. It will also be an HD upgrade project, with a new 1280 x 960 4:3 resolution. People will be able to play in Chinese, English, or Japanese.
The title is set in an alternate reality. During World War II, Japan surrendered to the Allies. As a result, life in the country is quite different and the country is overrun by people seeking control. However, things may change when Leo Shishigami, who fought in the war, meets Rose Haibara of Club Primavera.
This is the opening movie for the game Ryukishi07.
Although the game has never been localized and released worldwide until this revelation, one of the manga series based on the game has been released. Yen Press picked up one of them and released volumes in the series. However, other manga adaptations were not localized.
This isn’t the only new Ryukishi07 game in development. The developer is also working on Silent Hill F.
Four Day of the Rose Gun Chapters will be available on PCs outside of Japan.
