Samsung Starts Improving Apps Ahead of One UI 7 Launch: Check Out What’s New
Samsung One UI 7 will launch on July 29. According to reports, Samsung is upgrading apps before releasing the new software update. Reddit user Lord_Drizzleshizz has pointed out the release of the Overhauled Clock app. The user reported that he received the official update version 12.4.00.9 from the Galaxy Store. The app is also officially available for download via APKMirror. The app has a refined design, new widgets similar to the notification tabs. The new Clock app comes with redesigned icons next to the world clock, alarm, stopwatch, and timer check.
In addition to the Clock app, redditors have spotted the latest version of Samsung Internet Browser as part of the new UI 7 beta update. While there aren’t any visual differences between the old and new versions, you can see that the Samsung Internet app icon has a new color. If you look closely, the icon is dark with the planet tilted in a different direction.
These newly discovered updates suggest that Samsung will likely bring more updates to its apps in the coming weeks ahead of the release of Samsung One UI 7. Speculations and leaks suggest that app icons will be revamped including the camera, circular UI features, and separate quick panels for the settings and notification bars.
