Furthermore, the standard two-guest free admission policy to Priority Pass and Sapphire lounges does not apply to these Air Canada Maple Leaf lounges — free access is reserved for cardholders or users only authorized.
Travelers can join with a cardholder for $59 USD for US locations, $59 Canadian for Canadian locations, 59 euros for EU locations or £59 for location in the UK.
Bottom line
Whenever additional lounges are added to the card, it will be an additional bonus for the cardholder. With the addition of select Air Canada Maple Leaf lounges, Chase is closing the gap between its lounge portfolio and American Express Global Lounge Collection.
While the lounges are primarily at major international airports, this addition gives cardholders the ability to fly on Air Canada or another Star Alliance additional airline options and that’s always a bonus, especially with current lounge overcrowding and wait times.
