Sega’s Gamescom 2024 Lineup Includes ‘Global Premiere’ of Unannounced Project
Sega has just announced the list of video games that will debut at this year’s Gamescom, which takes place in Germany later this month.
It will lead with October 2024 free Sonic X Dark Generation. The game will be played publicly for the first time in Europe and will be joined by Atlus fantasy RPG Metaphor: ReFantazio also officially launched to the public.
Additionally, fans can look forward to the “global premiere” of an “unannounced project.” Here’s the PR announcement:
“Finalizing the list of titles playable on the SEGA booth is still an unannounced project. Please keep an eye on our social media channels in the coming weeks for more information.”
As mentioned, this “unannounced project” will round out Sega’s playable games catalog. No other information has been revealed about this project yet, so we’ll let you know when we hear more.
Regarding Sonic X Shadow Generations, players will be able to choose between the all-new Shadow the Hedgehog story campaign or the Sonic the Hedgehog adventure. Sonic himself will be present, allowing fans to take photos with him, and a custom-built Shadow-inspired motorcycle will also be on display.
Gamescom will kick off later this month with Opening Night Live on August 20 and the whole event took place until August 25.
