‘Sid Meier’s Civilization VII’ launches on Switch in 2025, more details in August

Civilization VII coming out next year, but most importantly if you’re reading this site it’s coming to Nintendo Switch!

Civilization VI was of course released on Switch, but it’s nice to know that its long-awaited sequel will also appear on Nintendo’s console. To be announced in time Introducing the opening of the Summer Game FestivalYou can watch the reveal teaser trailer above.

As the seventh main title in the series, Civilization VII is a 4X strategy game developed by the legendary team at Firaxis Games. Players establish their civilization, building cities and architectural wonders to expand their territory, conquer, or cooperate with rival civilizations in pursuit of prosperity and discovery. Distant lands of unknown worlds.

The 2K press release states that “the full reveal of Civilization VII and its exciting new features and enhancements will be shared in August 2024,” so we should hear more soon more.
