Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Speeds Up on Nintendo Switch “Soon”
Update []: After Sega’s announcement about Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Yesterday, it appeared that some more information was discovered on Sega’s Asia website – hinting at what players can expect in this upcoming entry. This is via Sonic Stadium:
Another piece of information about #SonicRacingCrossWorlds has been revealed. The metadata from the SEGA Asia website says the following: “Drift through dimensions! Race across land, sea, air, space and time in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds!”
Original story: At this year’s Game Awards, SEGA announced that it will release a new racing game with an official title Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.
So far, we’ve only had one cinematic trailer, but as you can see, Shadow the Hedgehog is in its element. It will be “coming soon” to Nintendo Switch and many other platforms. Sega also shared some more information about this upcoming release in an official PR:
“The reveal during the show was Sonic Racing: CrossWorldsracing game featuring iconic characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog™ universe. The game has unique racing mechanics that promise to take Sonic racing fans into a new dimension.”
In some related news, Sega also announced they are developing a new game. Virtua fighter game as well as a new concept called ‘Century Project‘ from Ry Ga Gotoku Studio (yakuza, Like a dragon).
