Sonic X Shadow Generations website may reveal fourth playable character
Sonic X Dark Generation is delighting us with the return of Shadow the Hedgehog, but according to a page on Japan official website In the game, it seems that there will be a fourth secret playable character that has not been announced yet.
As discovered by Tails Channel on social media (thanks, VGC), the site shows Modern Sonic, Classic Sonic, Shadow, and a fourth box that is currently empty with the words ‘coming soon’ displayed below. You’ll need to click the blue star icon on the right side if you want to swap between Sonic and Shadow.
As for who this mysterious character might be, honestly, we don’t have any clear idea right now. It could be a ‘classic’ version of Shadow with shorter limbs and a more ‘cute’ look, but it’s probably more likely a completely different variation of the anti-hero.
Either way, we’ll know for sure on or before the game launches. October 25, 2024. As a reminder, Sonic x Shadow Generations includes a complete remake of the original Sonic Generations, with additional content starring Shadow himself.
