Square Enix’s SaGa Emerald Beyond gets a new update for Switch
Square Enix SaGa Emerald Outside may not have received as much attention as some other JRPGs this year, but several months after release, Square Enix is still showing support for the game with a number of updates.
The “main content” in this latest content addresses many bugs and also includes some quality of life improvements. Here are the full patch notes:
– Fixed an issue where certain battles would not end if the player entered an endless overdrive loop.
– Adjusted combo rate when a player reaches the fourth or more consecutive overspeed.
– Fixed several issues related to trading specific items in multiples.
– Adjusted the trading menu hierarchy.
– Added the function to switch between items on the Item Enhancement screen.
– Added a description stating that damage taken will also increase when affected by certain damage-increasing effects.
– Fixed an issue regarding which door to choose at the intersection when there are only two doors in Tsunanori Mido’s story.
– Fixed many minor graphics display issues.
– Fixed many minor text issues.
– Adjust various UI display elements.
– Fixed other minor issues.
When the game arrived on Switch earlier this year, we praised the timeline combat system, loved the multiple stories, worlds, and characters, and the callbacks to previous SaGa entries.
