Be ready, Squirrel holding a gun coming to PS5 on October 15! That’s right, your favorite armed mammal is almost ready to clean up the town by taking down those pesky suit-clad Agents. And just when you thought Squirrel With a Gun couldn’t get any more good, we’ve got a bunch of free updates planned and coming soon. Today we’re introducing you to two big updates, the new Photo Mode releasing on October 15th and the Boss Battles update coming in the near future. Who knew that a squirrel could do so many things, oh my?

Serve delicious squirrel dishes with Photo Mode

Get ready to capture your most epic squirrel moments with the new Photo Mode! Whether you’re making a daring escape, doing something exciting in mid-air, or making new friends in the neighborhood, you can now capture and save all those unforgettable moments. The best part is that there are plenty of modes to help you create the perfect shot.

The first is Classic Cam Adjustment Mode, which helps you control the camera like a pro. Move the camera around, rotate it, and even give it a dramatic Dutch angle for some serious flair. Zoom in and out with the Field of View (FoV) slider to frame your perfect shot, whether you’re up close and personal or capturing the action from afar.

Next is Focus Mode. Add some photography magic by experimenting with your camera’s focus. Choose the Player setting to focus on you (because let’s face it, you’re the star) or get all-out creative with Manual Mode, where you control the focal distance for the perfect screenshot. That’s perfect.

And finally Filter Mode. Why settle for the ordinary when you can add something a little strange to your photos? With 15 unique filters to collect, like the cute kawaii-esqe filter or the awesome meme face filter that’s timeless and still incredibly relevant, you can turn every snap into something really memorable or fun.

Prepare to face a legendary boss

Coming to one of our later updates, a new master and boss battle is slowly taking place behind the scenes. Your enemy is the legendary Ratatoskr, the squirrel of Norse legend. Forced into alliance with the Agents, you must climb into the heavens and fight this mythical rodent so that it does not destroy the neighborhood.

This boss fight is unlike any other you will face. This squirrel moves fast, has a variety of ranged and melee attacks, and is a significantly smaller target! Luckily, you’ll be given a special SMG with unlimited ammo for this epic occasion.

Now that’s not all that’s coming to the neighborhood. You can expect new outfits, a whole new level, new furs, and maybe even a game-changing device from the lab that can change gravity itself! All of these updates are provided for Squirrel With a Gun for free. We want to keep the fun going for as long as possible!
