During the chat, Issa Rae and Keke Palmer explained the plot behind ‘One Of Them Days’. According to the actors, the film was inspired by the experience of a friend of Syreeta Singleton. Furthermore, the film mainly focuses on the effects of urbanization. But the focus is on two friends – played by Keke Palmer and SZA – who are “trying to make a living.”

While speaking, Palmer reflected on her chemistry with SZA and how that translated on screen.

“I think maybe we just naturally have similar feelings,” Palmer explained. “We first met on SNL [Saturday Night Live]… then, we met on film and… we had natural chemistry. I can’t even explain that.”

As for her off-screen relationships, Palmer shared that her “craziest” moment holding a friend back was walking up to her partner and their partner’s mother. On the other hand, Rae said she pretended to be a doctor to scare a friend’s partner medically.
