After being was abruptly shut down by Microsoft earlier this year.The Japanese studio has been acquired by South Korean publisher Krafton, a company known for titles such as PUBG: Battlefield And Callisto ProtocolThe acquisition also includes rights to the Hi-Fi-Rush IP.

Hi-Fi RUSH IP and explore future projects. KRAFTON intends to support the Tango Gameworks team in continuing its commitment to innovation and bringing new and exciting experiences to fans.”
The existence of Tango Gameworks and, by extension, the Hi-Fi Rush IP means that fans can expect a direct sequel at some point in the near future.
