The battle for airport credit card lounges has never been fiercer, and Chase made a strong move this year with the opening of The Club’s Sapphire Lounge at New York City’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA).

This two-story outpost spans more than 21,000 square feet and is packed with amenities, including a classic arcade and facial bar. With top-notch food and beverage options – many of which are available from a restaurant-style a la carte menu – this space is a winner.

Those with deep pockets will be extremely excited about this space as the lounge also offers Book a Suite room; This is a unique lounge experience that includes butler service in spacious private rooms.

Delta One Lounge — JFK

It’s nearly 40,000 square feet (though still full during peak afternoon and evening departure times) and features a stunning outdoor terrace, eye-catching horseshoe-shaped bar, spa, shoe shine service and much more.

The lounge’s brasserie even offers some of the best lounge food one can find at a lounge in the country.

Delta has since expanded its business class lounge portfolio to Los Angelesand it will soon expand into spaces in Boston and Seattle. That said, based on size alone, the one at JFK will probably be the nicest one.

American Express Centurion Lounge — ATL

American Express was the first card issuer to open an airport lounge in the US and 11 years later first space opened (in Las Vegas), the company had its best space ever.

The space is small — only about 5,500 square feet — but if you can get a table, you’ll likely enjoy delicious food and delicious drinks. Even if you don’t have a Capital One card, you can still buy some José Andrés food at the takeout counter. Capital One will open a landing spot at LGA in the coming weeks, but it will be interesting to see how this new concept performs, especially at airports designed for short-haul and short-haul flights. short stay.
