The Bidoof Pokemon Stool will include storage space
The Pokemon Company has revealed new stools modeled after Bidoof. The furniture will also include space inside Bidoof’s “body” to store items. The company has opened pre-orders for the item on Pokemon Center Japan Online shop.
The Bidoof stool is primarily made of wood but is covered in polyester and urethane foam to recreate the shape of a Pokemon. The product will come in two versions: male and female. As seen in Pokemon video games since their debut in the fourth generation entries Diamond And PearlMale Bidoof has two more tails than female.
While the bonus tail adds to the overall weight, there will be no difference in price as both versions cost exactly the same at 19,800 yen (~$123). Although the product is made in China, the company can only ship within Japan.

Bidoof has also been made into various stuffed animals in recent years. The US Pokemon Center web store still has velvet hat modeled after this creature and will be available for $19.99 in early July 2024. Build a bear also released a Bidoof plushie with optional costumes in March 2024.
The Pokemon Company will close the pre-order window for the Bidoof stool on July 29, 2024, although it may open another batch in the future. The company will begin shipping the product in early December 2024.
