Shanon Biles sends message to daughter Simone after years apart
On Tuesday, August 13, Daily mail has published an exclusive interview with Shanon. The 52-year-old explained that due to her drug addiction, she had to “give up” her children.
“It was hard to give up my kids, but I had to do what I had to do,” Shanon told the outlet. “I couldn’t take care of them. I still use and [my father] don’t want me to come in and out of their lives when I’m not right.”
Each EVERYBODYSimone has previously revealed that she and her siblings, Adria, Tevin and Ashley, were placed in an orphanage when she was three years old. At the age of six, she and Adria were adopted by their paternal grandparents, Ronald and Nellie Biles.
Shannon explained to Daily mail that she wanted to make it up to Simone. The mother explained that she had Simone’s phone number, but she was “waiting for her” to contact her.
“I wanted to make it up to Simone myself – I was just waiting for her and [her younger sister] Adria. I talk to Adria more than I talk to Simone,” Shanon explained. “I just want her to forgive me. Can we move forward? Don’t judge me for my past. Just move forward.”
Ultimately, the mother told the news agency she had to be “patient” with her daughter. Meanwhile, Shanon explained that her father had been keeping up to date with the 27-year-old.
“What I hear about Simone, I hear through my dad. I talk to my dad all the time. We’re okay… If I need to know anything, I call my dad. I ask him about Simone, and he keeps me updated,” she said.
Finally, Shanon also revealed that Simone’s father, Kevin Clemons, is also interested in “rebuilding[ing]“a relationship with her.
“We both wanted to see her. I talked to him all the time,” Shanon told the outlet. “He said, ‘If you talk to Simone, give her my number. I’d love to talk to her.’ But I couldn’t even talk to her. I had to ask my dad.”

Has Simone Biles publicly responded to her mother’s message?
At this time, Simone has yet to publicly respond to her mother’s message or interview with Daily mail. However, on Tuesday, August 13, the 27-year-old took to Instagram to share a series of photos that appear to be from her current time in Paris. As Shade room As previously reported, Simone has gone abroad to attend the 2024 Olympics.
The photo series includes scenes of Simone posing on a balcony, her visit to the Dior cafe, her time cruising the Parisian coast, and more.
Additionally, Biles even posted on her Instagram Story to repost a series of photos shared by her sister Adria. Adria also appears to be spending time in Paris with her sister.
Adria has yet to publicly respond to her mother’s comments.
