The Legend Of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom has been added to the official timeline
The Zelda timeline has sparked all sorts of debates and theories over the years, and now it looks like Nintendo has officially added the newest entry. Echoes of wisdom.
It chronicles Zelda’s new adventure below ‘Defeated Heroes’ Timelineput it Later Powerful hero And before ‘The Decline of the Kingdom of Hyrule’. Here’s Nintendo’s official description of Echoes of Wisdom in timeline:
“The hero Link sets out to rescue Princess Zelda, who has been captured by Ganon. After a fierce battle, Link defeats Ganon, but is then swallowed by a strange rift. It is as if he has been steal away… All across Hyrule, more mysterious rifts are forming and taking the people of Hyrule far away. No one is safe – not even the king and his advisors, who have also is missing. Princess Zelda must embark on an adventure to save her father she – the king. of Hyrule—the people and the Link.”
As the official site further notes, this timeline originates from Ocarina of time a ‘lost’ outcome when the Hero of Time is defeated in battle by Ganondorf. A victorious outcome, called ‘The Hero’s Victory’, leads to Link’s ‘childish’ and ‘adult’ eras.
As you can also see in the picture above, Breath of the wild And Tears of the Kingdom is placed separately on the timeline.
Nintendo previously stated that only consider the Zelda timelines “to some extent” during development. More recently, producer Eiji Aonuma also explained the reason Gameplay tends to take priority over story in this special series.
