The Lollipop Chainsaw remake will be released on Switch this September
We first heard Lollipop Chainsaw would be getting a remake in 2022 and now the first official trailer for Lollipop RePOP chainsaw has dropped, confirming that it will be coming to Switch and more platforms on September 25, 2024.
This updated version of the Grasshopper Manufacturing title, from developer Dragami Games, is described as a complete version of the game, leaving the story unchanged and instead focusing on improved quality of life and content Additional games. The scene set in the first trailer above features legendary zombie hunter Juliet.
In terms of QoL, fans can expect full HD, improved loading times, sped up chainsaw action along with the introduction of a Chained Hits Hunting system, adjusted input timing, Chainsaw Blaster action improved and combo actions are accessible at the start of the game.
In terms of additional game content, there’s a new pop art-inspired art style for damage effects, a unique new chainsaw, 30 costumes, 4 new hair colors, 4 new chainsaws, opening Expanded Juliet’s room and time attack mode with ranked features.
The game’s worldwide physical release has been confirmed and further details will be revealed at a later date.
