The Pokémon Company Reveals Next TCG Scarlet & Violet Expansion, ‘Covered Fable’
The Pokémon Company has revealed the next Scarlet & Violet trading card game ‘Shrouded Fable’ and it looks… legendary.
The latest TCG set will hit the shelves August 2, 2024 and is set to mark the card debut of Scarlet and Violet Indigo disc Pokémon DLC, Pecharunt. On top of that, the DLC’s ‘Faithful Three’ – Okidogi, Munkidori and Fezandipiti – will be treated as legacy variants for the first time.
With ‘Sunset masquerade‘ expansion brings us 160 more cards on May 24, there’s always the chance that Shrouded Fable’s sequel will be a bit smaller – and it is. The Shrouded Fabel set will include more than 95 cards and provide special illustrations based on Japanese woodblock art for more than 30 Pokémon and Trainer cards.

This upcoming series will be released this August in various forms. Although we’ll have to wait until September 6 to see the expansion’s Booster Pack (according to Serebii.net), there will be mini tins and special illustrated collections available on day one alongside the Shrouded Fable Elite Trainer Box which is now available to pre-order from Pokémon Center because £54.99.
