The Razer Kuromi collection is on its way
Razer announced a collaboration with Sanrio to create a new collection of Kuromi-themed accessories. The collection will launch on January 9, 2025.
The Razer Kuromi collection was introduced by the company through their social media accounts, although they kept quiet about the content of the collection. However, it is likely that the collection will include items similar to those released in China in August 2024. These include a Kuromi over-ear headset, mouse and keyboard (with wrist rest), trackpad, and speakers. The China release announcement asked what other countries they should launch the collection in, so it’s likely that the latest announcement is aiming for a global release. The collection will launch on January 9, 2025 at 9am PST.
The Kuromi collection is not the first collaboration with Sanrio that Razer has done. ONE HelloKitty Collection was also released through their website. The Hello Kitty collection includes similar items, including headphones, keyboards, and mouse pads, but instead of speakers, they released a gaming chair.
Razer is also producing a variety of headsets and character-based accessories for other products. ONE Pokemon headphones based on Gengar released in China in October 2024. Similar to the Kuromi collection, the China release was timed with a social media post asking fans which ears they wanted. heard released in other countries.
