The Sonic 3 movie trailer gives Shadow The Hedgehog fans everything they want
There’s less than a month to go Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie in theaters, Paramount Pictures has released the second official trailer, and Shadow the Hedgehog is clearly the star of the movie here.
The trailer gives Sonic (and Shadow) fans plenty to enjoy, with Gerald Robotnik, Space Colony ARK, and Maria Robotnik — crucial to Shadow’s storyline — introduced.
But Shadow, voiced by Matrix And John Wick star Keanu Reeves, is the main focus here. Carrying iconic Air shoes, a motorcycle and a gun (yes, they’re really doing that), Shadow will face off against Sonic and friends as the blue hedgehog works to save the world from Gerald Robotnik’s plans.
Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles will team up with Dr. Robotnik — or Eggman, you know — to defeat Shadow and Gerald. And of course, Sonic and Shadow will face each other. We have seen slittle things in the first trailerand we’ve got a few more glimpses of that here.
This second trailer builds on the first trailer in many ways – we saw Shadow’s motorbike, where he got to do that thing Akira bike slide – but this one is filled with little teases that fans of Shadow and Sonic Adventure 2 will appreciate. Ahead of today’s trailer, a brand new one Sega Genesis cartridge for Sonic 3 movie was shared last week. It also works fine and serves as a teaser for the new trailer. Very, very cool.
