The triangle strategy digital game returns to the Switch eShop
Square Enix announced that it is once again possible to purchase digital copies of its strategy game Triangle strategy on Nintendo Switch eShop. It first appeared there in March 2022, but it eventually became “Temporarily unavailable” in early December 2024. Now that 2025 has begun, the company announced its return. status of physical copy at retail remains unchanged.
In case of Triangle strategy on Switch, physical copies are available, and those who grabbed the digital version of the game before it was temporarily removed can still download it again. No explanation was given for the initial removal. Now it’s back on the storefrontSquare Enix is listed as the publisher. Initially, Nintendo acted as the publisher of the game when it launched.
The removal of the Switch eShop occurred shortly after launch Triangle strategy Meta Quest VR version. That thing launches in October 2024. Windows PC version is also available. It launches in October 2022, shortly after the Switch release.
Even though the game is about two years old, there haven’t been any discounts yet. It still costs $59.99 for a digital copy of Triangle strategy on eShop. That’s the same amount on Steam. Meta Quest Edition costs $29.99.
