The triangle strategy is “Temporarily unavailable” on the Switch eShop, but don’t worry

It’s been out for over two years now, but if you Final decided that now is the time to enjoy the tactical fun of 2022, TRIANGLE STRATEGYthen you’re out of luck – at least if you want to download it on Switch – as the game has been removed from the eShop.

Yes, those who have not downloaded Triangle Strategy will find that the eShop listing is currently unavailable. The page itself is still there, naturally, but there’s no option to buy it digitally through Nintendo.

Of course, if you bought the game and deleted it to save space, you can still download your old copy, but new players will have to wait.

Square Enix shared the news on Twitter, saying they are “working on this issue” and that we should expect an update when the game becomes available for purchase again:

This is nothing new for Square Enix. If you think back to earlier this year, you might remember octopus tourists Present similarly delisted after the game publisher changed Switch from Nintendo to Square Enix. Soon after this switch, Octopath Traveler started appearing on other consoles – something we hadn’t seen since Triangle Strategy…. Um.

Delistings have previously taken over a month to be resolved, so those still hoping to use the Triangle Strategy should feel more at ease. Or just choose the physical version, that’s also an option.
