This super long round-the-world cruise is now a four-month Pacific cruise


Do you want to spend 130+ days exploring Asia, the Pacific and Alaska? Princess Cruises has changed its previously announced around-the-world cruise itinerary to make it more appealing to the Pacific region.

With the ongoing unrest affecting the Red Sea region, Princess decided not to send ships through this area to bring passengers from Asia to Europe. The airline has replaced calls in Greece, Cyprus, Montenegro, Croatia, Italy, France, Belgium, the UK and Portugal and other countries with new calls in China, Japan and Alaska.

The new route on the 2,000-passenger Coral Princess now includes two overnight trips – one in Bangkok and one in Hanoi, Vietnam – plus 12 late nights that will allow passengers to spend more time in these places. such as Honolulu, Tahiti, Auckland, Sydney, Singapore, Hong Kong and Osaka, Japan, among others.

“This Pacific cruise is more than just a cruise,” John Padgett, president of Princess Cruises, said in a statement. “It’s an invitation to explore some of the Pacific’s most remote and iconic destinations on an unforgettable journey.”

Revised journey will depart January 5, 2026, from Fort Lauderdale and sail for 131 days. It will visit 60 destinations across 19 countries. For travelers looking to depart from the US West Coast, Princess also offers a slightly shorter 115-day route, departing from Los Angeles on January 21, 2026. Both will terminate in Los Angeles on May 16, 2026.

While aboard the Coral Princess, passengers can expect signature Princess cruise activities, such as cooking and dance classes, enrichment programs, music productions, Spa services and outdoor movies. There are also some unique activities for this trip. Among them are themed parties and special entertainment activities that reflect the history and folklore of the countries visited.

Inside cabin prices start at $32,549 per person for longer trips and $28,309 per person for shorter trips. Both ticket prices are for double occupancy and include taxes and fees.

Passengers who don’t have a lot of money or vacation time to spare can look for one of several shorter and more specific segmented options. Examples include a 16-night Panama Canal cruise from $2,019 per person; 30-day trip through Hawaii and the South Pacific from $5,048 per person; Nine-day trip to Australia and New Zealand costs from 1,678 USD/person; 11-day trip to Japan, Taiwan and Korea priced from 1,938 USD/person; and a nine-day California coastal cruise from $1,349 per person. All fares are for internal accommodation and are based on double occupancy; they include taxes and fees.

Vessels booked for the entire itinerary or segment 115 days before December 31 will be booked according to Princess Premier Package. This package has perks like premium beverage packages, Wi-Fi streaming for up to four devices, complimentary specialty restaurant dining, crew tips, unlimited fitness classes and photography package. Other freebies include free airline tickets, up to $500 in airline credit, and free transfers from select airports.
