Tickets to the Nintendo Museum will include your Mii
When the Nintendo Museum opens on October 2, 2024, we’re sure there will be a lot of fans rushing through the doors, eager to see all the amazing exhibits and play with the interactive stations. But if you’re one of the lucky ones to get tickets, there’ll be a fun little surprise before you even enter the museum.
Discovered by Nintendo CordYour unique admission ticket—if you have one, that is!—will display your Mii on the front. It’s a nice little touch, especially since you need a Nintendo account to get into the museum.
This information is kept quite carefully on the museum’s official website. User manual section. Scroll down, under the Issue QR section and under ‘Assigning tickets to other visitors’, there is a small drop-down section titled ‘What you can do when assigning’. Here, the instructions explain that “upon entering the museum, each visitor will receive a play ticket printed with a Mii character set for their Nintendo Account”.
However, tickets aren’t just for museum admission. Each person’s ticket will record their profile and scores from various interactive games and exhibits at the museum. If you’re going with family or friends who don’t have Nintendo accounts, their scores will be credited to the ticket holder’s Nintendo account.
Like we could get any more jealous—we’re saving up for a trip to Japan right now… we want Mii tickets! And basically everything else. For information on prices, exhibits, and booking details, we’ve rounded up a little guide for you.
