Tokyo Xtreme Racer PC game footage published
Genki has shared new gameplay footage for its upcoming PC version Tokyo Xtreme racer. It will release the highway racing game worldwide on the day Steam in 2025.
The main game mode will consist of one-on-one duels with other street racers. The ultimate goal is to deplete your opponent’s soul points by causing them to crash into obstacles or get at least 25 meters ahead of them. Players will also be able to customize their vehicles with decals, aftermarket parts, and lights.

Genki is gradually revealing the list of car models that will appear in the new version Tokyo Xtreme racer. The first six cars are revealed above YouTube are the Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II, Toyota Supra RZ, Mazda RX-7 Type RZ, Toyota GR86 RZ, Toyota Levin GT-APEX and Subaru Impreza WRX STI Spec C. New gameplay footage further confirms the appearance of the Mazda3 Fastback 20S Retro Sport, Suzuki Swift Sport and Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT-APEX 3 Door—the latter popularized by Takumi Fujiwara in D initially.
This match will mark the return of Battle of Shukoko The highway racing game series first appeared on the Super Famicom (SNES) in 1994 but went dormant after Genki created Battle of Shuko X for Japan and Tuner import challenge for the West on Xbox 360 in 2006 (or 2007 if you’re counting Midnight Wangan Genki game released for PS3 and PSP in Japan). The new game so far has the same Japanese and English titles as the 1999 release on the Sega Dreamcast.
