Toree Saturn releases new trailer ahead of Switch launch this year
A new trailer and PC demo for the upcoming release Saturn Toree has been released, with developer Sactro also reconfirming the new entry will launch at some point in the 2024. This latest update also covers the release for Nintendo Switch.
When this new project is launched Originally announced last SeptemberNintendo didn’t make any announcement at that time, that’s it!
Here’s a quick rundown of what to expect from the latest entry in this fast-paced 3D platformer series (via Steam):
“Run through linear levels from point A to B as a double-jump bird while avoiding enemies, collecting stars (if desired) and getting all sorts of little boosts along the way.”
– Toree has two new moves! Players can now grounddash in mid-air to land faster and gain a speed boost when colliding with the ground, as well as target special stars to gain elevation and movement speed boosts.ββ
– New look! Toree Saturn’s art style tries to blend the late 90s 3D look with some of the crazier early Y2K looks. It feels like a natural evolution of the art styles of the previous games… I hope.ββ
– Controlling Toree just got a whole lot easier!
There is no more Run button, meaning players don’t have to hold the right trigger for hours.
Most actions (except the action that triggers the ground dash) only use the Jump button.β
Ground Dash is performed using your controller’s now released Right Trigger (LMB if K&M)
