Trails In The Sky Dev Apparently ‘Surprised’ By Recent Nintendo Direct Reveal

Sign up to Nintendo Life ABOVE YouTube776k Nintendo Direct broadcasts bring all sorts of exciting news, and in the latest 'Partner Showcase' in August, developer Nihon Falcom even got a surprise. According to the developer's president Toshiro Kondo, he actually had no idea Nintendo would reveal The First Sky Trails in this special broadcast. This information comes from a recent conversation with GNN (here's what was said, courtesy of Siliconera): Silicone: "It's clear that Kondo had no idea that Nintendo was planning to hold a livestream on that day, nor did he know that they would choose to reveal The First Sky Trails then. If this announcement surprises anyone, it was not his intention." Looks like the Japanese voice actor for Joshua Bright (Mitsuki Saiga) also don't know anything about the remake. Kondo also spoke to GNN to talk about the quality of the game's trailer - explaining that Nihon Falcom "is the company that stands 100% behind both the trailer and the game" after some players accused the footage of being "too good for Nihon Falcom".
