Travis Kelce talked for more than 10 minutes about Taylor Swift and how much he loves her
As if you couldn’t tell, oh, about last year, Travis Kelce is an important moment Taylor Swift. But just in case you were in any doubt, Kelce appeared on a podcast where he went on for 10 minutes about how proud he was of “my girl.” That’s my lady.”

What is especially noteworthy is Kelce’s account of “why I really started to love her.” He talked about Swift’s awareness of her high achievements while also being conscious of keeping everyone comfortable and not focusing on other people’s important moments, such as Super Bowl wins. of Chiefs.
“She’s very self-aware but at the same time like… she understands situations like that,” Kelce said of Swift. “And I think that’s why I really started to love her because of her sincerity towards her friends and family. It can get crazy for someone with that much attention and she just keeps it cool and cool, and I can definitely admire that.
Kelce’s comments are just the latest form of PDA from the couple. In just the past five days, they have immortalized their relationship in the form of a selfie along with the three heirs to the throne, Taylor wore the “TNT” ring while performing, Travis carries Taylor on stage in front of thousands of screaming fans, including Sir Paul McCartney (and let’s not forget the not-so-subtle kiss she gave Travis before he left the stage with his giant Louboutins), Taylor Share the image of carrying the above mentioned body on Instagram and told her 283 million followers that she was “still smiling/swooning over @killatrav’s Eras Tour debut 🥰,” a custom Super Bowl style ring given to Taylor Gigi Hadid features some of the singer’s “favorite things,” including a portrait of one of her cats (Benjamin Button, you’re the chosen one) and Travis’ jersey number, 87.
We’ve come a long way since our first game against the Bears and November 2023 commentary by Kelce explaining that he tried to stay quiet to “make sure I didn’t say anything that would push Taylor away.”
“Obviously I’ve never dated anyone with that kind of temperament…. I never resolved it,” he said at the time. “But at the same time, I don’t run away from any of it…. She’s under scrutiny, every day she wears magnifying glasses, paparazzi outside her house, outside every restaurant she goes to, after every flight she gets off, and she’s just living, enjoy life. When she acts like that, I better not be the one acting strangely.”
Now, he’s still not the person acting strangely like he says, but he doesn’t hide how he feels about the singer.
“It’s like you want to keep things private but at the same time, I’m not here to hide anything,” he said on the podcast. “That’s my girl. That’s my lady. I’m proud of that. So I’m not sitting here trying to figure out how to keep this a secret. You just don’t want to let people into her personal life and being able to comment on it knowing that everything she does is noticed.”
Swift’s ability to keep things casual, he said, helped her earn “sweet spots” from Kelce. “Damn, she’s in a frenzy, she wants to be a part of it. She wanted to support me and do things like that, I’m very much like a man, she really convinced me with that.”
And he supported her too, grinning as he told the hosts about Swift’s “electric” concerts and “seeing her in her element, killing it on stage.”
When asked to rank his three favorite Swift songs, he didn’t hesitate. “Love Story,” described by Kelce as “a forever banger” (and considered by fans to be forever “Did the lip sync between the two of them really happen?!” moment) didn’t really work, but a song with “a little sentimental meaning, I guess” did.
That’s right: “So High School,” an ode to sitting on the couch, playing video games and making eye contact. A PDA anthem.
“You know what I’m saying?” Kelce added. “You know how to play football, I know Aristotle, man.”
