According to United States todayUrban and Ehlers allegedly attempted to commit their crimes at the Beaver Lake Hide Away Campground in Rogers, Arkansas, on September 21. The newspaper noted that the pair were believed to have lived there about three months.

According to the arrest affidavit, a man came to the couple’s camp and asked if he could keep the child overnight. In return, the man offered to give his parents some beer. The parents apparently agreed, and while the child was in the man’s care, he and a woman took photos of the blisters and rash on the child’s body.

According to the source, someone in the camp management office called the police, reporting that the couple “tried to give their child away for money and beer.” Additionally, the caller requested medical attention for the child.
